Originally from Ohio, Coach Karcher attended Wittenberg University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in the focus of Middle School Education. Upon graduation he received his first teaching and coaching opportunity in Fayetteville. Coach Karcher's experiences include teaching mathematics at both the middle and high school levels, along with years of experience developing athletes in the weight room.
His coaching career includes a variety of sports that includes football, wrestling and softball. Over his 16 years of teaching and coaching experience, he has served as a position coach, has 8 years of coordinating experience and 3 years of Head Coaching experience. He most recently served as the Head Football Coach at E.E. Smith High School in Fayetteville.
Coach Karcher has been happily married to his wife, Amy, for 14 years. His wife also works in education as a guidance counselor. Together, they have a 12 year old son named Drew. Coach Karcher is extremely excited about the opportunity to be a part of the McBee family and is looking forward to helping all of our students grow and chase their dreams.
