Prerequisite: Academic Performance
This course provides a rigorous approach to concepts and problem-solving processes contained in the basic structure of algebra. It is intended for students with above average mathematical abilities. Non-routine problems requiring insight and ingenuity will be included. Enrollment is determined by 8th grade math performance. The SC End-of-Course test counts 20% of the final grade.
