Principal's Message

Principal S. Young

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome back to another exciting school year at McBee HIgh! We hope you had a restful and enjoyable summer break and are now ready to embark on a new journey of learning and growth.

This year's theme is "Why not us?" This powerful question inspires us to reach for greatness, challenge the status quo, and believe in our potential to achieve anything we set our minds to. It's a call to action for students, teachers, and parents alike to aim high and support each other in our collective quest for excellence.

What "Why not us?" Means for Our School Community

  • For Students: It's a reminder that each of you has the ability to excel in academics, sports, arts, and any other area you are passionate about. Don't let self-doubt hold you back. Embrace challenges and strive to be the best version of yourselves.
  • For Parents: It's an encouragement to support your children in their pursuits and to believe in their potential. Your involvement and encouragement are crucial to their success.
  • For Teachers and Staff: It's a commitment to providing the highest quality education and fostering an environment where every student can thrive. We are dedicated to inspiring and empowering our students to reach their full potential.
