Welcome!
McBee High School is one of four high schools located in Chesterfield County. We house grades 6 - 12. In our effort to produce well-rounded graduates, we continually strive for excellence in Academics, Athletics, and the Fine Arts!
Academically, we offer college preparatory, honors, advance placement, and (in partnership with Northeastern Technical College) duel enrollment courses. Our departments include math and science, modern and classical languages, social studies and the humanities, fine arts, and career and technology education. Our students are also very competitive in our intra-district Academic Bowl league.
Our Athletics, the mighty Panthers, boast 22 men's and women's sports with recent state championships in track, boys' golf, girls' golf, and baseball. Our coaches go above and beyond to not win on the field, but they also work diligently to see that our student athletes are successful in life.
Students at McBee High have many opportunities to explore the Fine Arts including band, chorus, musical theatre, visual art, and audio visual/digital media. Our visual art department routinely places first in contests. The band is always very competitive recently winning the SCBDA Lower State marching championship, the Outstanding Performance Award, as well as multiple superior ratings in individual and ensemble assessments.
Finally, MHS host a wide range clubs and organizations including our famous FFA chapter, FBLA, Drama, National Technical Honor Society, Beta Club, Student Government, yearbook, and HOSA.
