In their haste, an unfortunate oversight occurred: The Star Spangled Banner was not performed. McBee High School is committed to the values and ideals that have made the United States a great nation. While no disrespect was implied, we are committed to ensuring that this doesn’t happen again. We would like to apologize to the community (especially our veterans) and McBee High senior band and chorus member, Bryce Eubanks who was in the press box scheduled to perform the national anthem when the game started. Thank you, Bryce, for having the arrangement ready. We will find an opportunity in the future for Bryce to sing the national anthem and, again, apologize.
