English 3 Honors (Period 4)

This course is designed to challenge students planning to complete the honors curriculum with Advanced Placement English their senior year. An emphasis on British literature (from the Anglo-Saxon Period through the nineteenth century), composition, and SAT/AP vocabulary will provide the students with the background needed to ensure a successful year in Advanced Placement English. Preparation begins for the analytical focus of English 5 AP. Two summer reading books from the honors reading list are required.
